The quarter-final of the Kent Senior Cup takes place at Margate’s Hartsdown Park this evening with Charlton Athletic the visitors.

The Addicks are likely to field a youthful team with possibly one or two more experienced players included to bolster the ranks.

The Charlton players currently on ‘work experience’ loans, such as Freddie Warren and Tosan Popo, are eligible for the game if the club wishes to use them.

Gary Doherty is one seasoned campaigner who may get a run out. If Charlton are successful, they will face either Dartford or Tonbridge Angels in the semi-final.

It was announced this morning that the fifth round FA Youth Cup tie with Tottenham will take place at The Valley on Thursday 16 February with a 7.00pm kick-off.

Season tickets for the 2012/13 campaign will be held at current prices for most of those purchasing before 5 April.

Thereafter, prices are likely to rise significantly, particularly if the club is promoted.

Chairman, Michael Slater, praised the fans for their support this season and the pricing structure – in part – is a recognition of this.

The exception is tickets for the disabled. Under 18 tickets go up from £49 to £75, tickets for the under 21’s and over 60’s rise from £75 to £125 and adult prices will rise from £165 to £215.

Disabled prices were the subject of an article in the programme on Saturday which stated it is the club’s intention to raise disabled prices to the standard North Stand rate over a period of time.

For the able bodied, the freezing of the prices will be welcomed and shows great foresight by the club. It is a little difficult to grasp the thinking behind the disabled prices though and disabled supporters are likely to be less than happy.
