Charlton have a home tie with holders Chelsea in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.
The match will be played in early January and given the quality of the opposition, the Addicks may decide to stage the game at The Valley.
Tareiq Holmes-Dennis’ strike at Molineux was enough to see the Charlton youngster’s safely through to this stage of the competition.
Seven of those who faced Manchester United in last year’s quarter-final played at Wolves on Wednesday, so the Addicks will fancy their chances of progressing, despite facing the toughest of opponents.
Last season the Addicks overcame Soham Town Rangers, Yeovil Town, Cambridge United, Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur before their unlucky elimination at Old Trafford.
The game should be a cracker and will be well worth making the effort to attend.
