The Charlton development squad will play Havant & Waterlooville in a pre-season friendly, the club announced on Friday.
The game will be played at the Westleigh Stadium on Saturday 10 August. This is the fourth friendly the development squad have scheduled. They will face Maidstone, Thurrock and Dartford before meeting the Hawks.
The first team’s opponents for the game at The Valley should be named next week. Arranging the fixture has given the club a headache but it will be an interesting game.
Millwall will play La Liga side, Rayo Vallecano, in a testimonial for skipper, Paul Robinson, on Saturday 27 July, the Lions announced on Friday.
The Madrid based outfit could have a sizeable following at the New Den. Charlton’s mooted opponents could also bring a decent following with them, so it is possible the Addicks may have to put their game back 24 hours.
