Charlton will play their second group game in the Checkatrade Trophy on Wednesday evening.
The first game was way back in August, the final match with Portsmouth will take place at The Valley next Tuesday, such is the disjointed nature of this competition.
If the Addicks beat the Fulham Academy side, they will qualify for the regionalised knock out round. The unpopularity of the tournament will ensure that The Valley will see its lowest attendance of the season.
Karl Robinson has given the bulk of his squad a few days break, and his team will mainly feature fringe players and youngsters.
Recently recovered duo, Mark Marshall and Ben Reeves, will get some valuable minutes on the pitch though.
The manager revealed the names of most of the players who will be involved in his post match press conference on Saturday.
Long term injury victim, Lewis Page, could get a run out.
Charlton could line-up like this:
Phillips; Barnes, Cummings, Dijksteel, Page; Aribo, Jackson, Marshall, Reeves, Ahearne-Grant; Dodoo.
Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Yamfam, Maloney, Lapslie, Hackett-Fairchild.
Craig Hicks of Surrey will be the man in charge.
If the scores are level at 90 minutes, the game will go to a penalty shoot-out, with the winners taking a bonus point.
