The 26-year-old South Korean international is an attack minded full-back who was part of Watford’s promotion winning side last season.

The Addicks have also completed the signing of former Brentford striker, Montell Moore, on a short term deal.

Sun will be in contention for a place in the squad at Fulham on Saturday, along with another newcomer, Marco Motta.

Jose Riga explained the rationale behind the signings:

“Yun is a player that will bring us some of the experience that we need in our situation. He knows the Championship and has a good knowledge of English football.

“He is a versatile player that can get forward well and has also played a number of high-pressure games in his career.

“Marco is another player that has good experience of England and has also played for big clubs like Juventus. He gives us some more options and is someone that can play at right-back and also in a back three.

“We have a run of three matches in a week coming soon (Fulham, Preston and Reading) and both Yun and Marco will reinforce our squad, and be and big help to us. They are both very dedicated players and I am very happy to add them to my squad,” said Riga.
