Charlton will play a behind-closed-doors friendly against Birmingham on Saturday.
The game will be played at the Blues’ Wast Hill training ground.
Lee Bowyer’s side will probably play another couple of warm-up games before travelling to Swindon for the Carabao Cup on 5 September.
Thomas Sandgaard was the subject of a two-page spread in Tuesday’s Sun. The 62-year-old Dane is a big rock music fan.
He is putting a band together to record an album, but that is on hold for now.
Sandgaard is confident of completing a deal to buy the club quickly, despite Paul Elliott applying for a High Court injunction.
He wants to get back to the Championship as quickly as possible, but will not take risks to get to his ultimate goal – the Premier League.
Stability is Sandgaard’s way. He is a fan of Bowyer, and has promised funds will be made available for the manager to strengthen his squad.
