Ebbsfleet United have announced that defender Patrick Ada has joined the club for the coming season.
Ada joins the club after two impressive performances in the Fleet’s pre season games against Tonbridge and Reading.
Patrick has had Football League experience in recent years with spells at Crewe Alexandra and Burton Albion, before that playing over 90 games for Histon in Non League Football. The 6 foot defender is 27 years old, born in Cameroon, and his first experience of football came at Redbridge back in 2004.
Team Manager Liam Daish commented ” “I have been very pleased with the standard of players who have come in during pre season. Patrick has slotted in well alongside Paul Lorriane and they seem to have struck up an instant understanding. We were lucky to have Yado Mambo with us on loan from Charlton for much of last season and now we have added another commanding figure to our defence.”
Myfootballclub Society Board member Trevor John added “A very good signing, I have been impressed with this solid defender. The members of MyFootballclub wish him good luck for the coming season.” The joint playing squad appeal between MyFootballclub and Fleet Trust continues at http://www.fleetsos.co.uk/ We thank all who have generously contributed towards this appeal to help us build the squad for the coming season.
