The manager will have his eye set firmly on taking all twelve points on offer as he bids to narrow the gap on the leaders.
First up is Robinson’s former team, MK Dons, at The Valley on Saturday.
The Dons will be buoyed by a thrilling 4-3 win at Oxford last time out, but Charlton will expect to win the game.
Three days later, Rochdale will pitch up in SE7, with many regarding the game as a banker home win.
But the game may be trickier than expected. Keith Hill’s side are resilient on the road and have drawn their last four away clashes.
Scunthorpe have not quite reached the heights of last season, and their victories at Glanford Park tend to be by the odd goal.
Former Addicks Andrew Crofts and Lee Novak will be hoping to do well against their old club.
Peterborough will be the last team to visit The Valley this month. The rearranged fixture is one of Charlton’s two games in hand, and will give them a real chance to close the gap at the top .
Posh are having a good season, largely based on their home form. They have won just one game on their travels, a thumping 4-0 win at Northampton back in August.
There are one or two awkward games for the Addicks to deal with. But there is no reason why they can not harvest a healthy number of points from them, and finish the month on a high.
