Fans of the Invicta Dynamos are being encouraged to don their worst Xmas jumpers for their last game before Christmas.
The Dynamos fans can join the players and staff for a post-game buffet and help Medway Sunlight Rotary Club raise funds for a worthy cause by wearing their trendy, or not so trendy jumpers on Sunday 22nd December following the league clash with the Streatham Redskins.
All of the players and staff at the Invicta Dynamos will be donning their Xmas attire and you’re invited you to join the club in the pick of your festive tops following the on ice action for a free buffet at the bar.
The evening will provide the perfect send-off ahead of the holidays before the team then return to NIHL action in the New Year.
As well as the post-game activities, the visit of Streatham will also see us welcome Medway Sunlight Rotary Club to the SilverBlades Gillingham as they seek to raise funds for a children’s hospice trip to EuroDisney in 2014.
Since 2009 the club has funded and led a four day holiday to the Paris amusement park, taking six families from both Demelza and ChYps Childrens Hospices in Kent and South East London, and they are heavily reliant on the public’s generosity to make this trip a reality.
At the game, representatives of the Medway Sunlight Rotary Club, dressed as Father Christmas, will be holding a bucket collection towards this aim and it is hoped the Invicta Dynamos and supporters can help provide a boost to this very worthy cause.
So dust off that Xmas jumper you were hiding at the back of your wardrobe, dig out the change that has fled to the safety of the crevices in your sofa and join the Dynamos for what could be an epic game that potentially may see them go into 2014 as league leaders.
