Football fans of a certain generation are in for a real treat as two of the double winning Spurs side come to Kent in a few weeks.
Cliff Jones and Terry Dyson were part of the 1961 team that were the first side to have done the league and FA Cup double and over fifty years later, fans of football in Kent can come to hear the two recollect their memories of the great side.
Both are really great characters and will be giving fans the chance to hear about the Bill Nicholson era, whilst enjoying a three course meal at The Roffen Club in Rochester.
Cliff was a Welsh international in his time and more recently has acted as a mentor for Gareth Bale at Spurs.
Both Cliff and Terry will be letting fans know what they think of the current Spurs side under manager Andre Villas-Boas and for Cliff, he’s looking forward to meeting some Spurs fans in Kent:
“Terry and I are looking forward to coming to Kent in October. I know lots of Spurs supporters go up to White Hart Lane from the Medway towns and we hope to meet as many of them as possible to talk about our time with the club. I’m sure it will be a great night.”
The evening begins at 7:30pm on Thursday 17th October at The Roffen Club in Rochester with tickets priced at £45.
