Gillingham have added to their attacking options with the signing of Brandon Hanlan on a two-year deal.
The forward, who joins from Charlton Athletic having begun his career at the Valley, played for both Colchester United and Bromley last season where, in total, he made 35 appearances and scored seven times.
His spell at Bromley was his second at Hayes Lane having also had a stint at the club in the early part of 2017 where he found the target four times in just eight outings.
The 21-year-old joined up with his new team-mates for the first time on Monday and Hanlan is looking forward to getting started.
He said: “I’m delighted to have signed and I’m happy it’s a two-year deal as it gives me time to settle and develop at the club.
“I’m excited to start a new journey and it’s good to come to a club where I already know the gaffer.”
Manager Steve Lovell added: “I’ve known Brandon for a long time and coached him while at Charlton. He’s a powerful, determined centre forward who will cause problems for any defence in League 1.
“He’s tall, he’s strong and a good finisher. I think he will do very well for us and he gives us good competition up front.”
