Seamer Charlie Hartley has extended his Kent contract after taking four wickets in two first XI appearances in 2016.
The bowler made his breakthrough in 2016 with taking two wickets against Gloucestershire and Yorkshire at Canterbury after impressing in the second XI.
The 22-year-old said: “I am delighted to be able have another year at Kent and am really looking forward to what next season has to offer both as a team and individually.”
The re-signing of Hartley comes on the back of the news that loan signing Will Gidman has made his move to Canterbury permanent.
