Kent County Cricket Club have confirmed there will be no first eleven cricket played at Beckenham this year after finalising their plans for 2013.

The Kent Spitfires’ Friends Life t20 match against Surrey on Sunday 30th June, which hadn’t originally been scheduled to have a venue, will now be played at Canterbury.

The match, scheduled to start at 3pm on 30th June will mean there will be no first team return to Beckenham this year.

Beckenham played host to the Twenty 20 fixture between the two sides last year, but the five home Twenty 20 games for the Kent Spitfires will all be played at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury.

The Club have also announced a change of venue for several 2nd XI fixtures during the 2013 season. The following 2nd XI fixtures will now be held at Canterbury and Maidstone rather than Beckenham as original indicated:
